PEACH SOCIAL AND BAKE SALE
The fund-raising committee is planning a Peach social for Friday September 1st from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Centre, 32 Russell Street. Price is $3.00 per serving. Any help with this project would be greatly appreciated by Bob and his  committee, if you can help give him a call at 776-5329.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED  Sybil is looking for volunteers to help with the following activities. Keeping the Library organized.& Visitation at Essex Retirement Home, If you can spare about 3 hours a month to help with these projects , Give Sybil a call at 776-5329. Sybil is also looking for knitters to do some knitting for the Essex Food Bank.

BINGOS IN KINGSVILLE
Volunteers are needed to help work bingos in Kingsville on Friday Sept. 8 and Friday Sept. 29, both are 1 and 4 P.M. bingos. Please call Shirley Colenutt or speak to Mark or BettyLou in the         office if you can help.

COMPUTER CLASSES
There was some interruption in the computer classes, but now we have Richard here for most of September. If you are interested in setting up some classes for yourself, give us a call. Richard can get you started and introduce you to the internet.

ESTATE PLANNING
Tuesday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. representatives from Victoria Gardens will give a presentation on Estate planning.

POT LUCK
Our next one is Tuesday September     12th. This is also scheduled to be our Election of Officers for the coming term. It is very important that you attend this meeting. Also Memberships will be coming up for renewal  in October. Your participation into the activities here at the club are most important. So Please mark this date on your calendar,, bring a casserole or bake goods etc. to share , also your own dishes and cutlery.

MEALS ON WHEELS
We appreciate the help of all our volunteers who help deliver Meals on Wheels! This past month we owe thanks to Rheva Grieve, Don Parish, Bruce Foster, Mark Bebee, Mr. & Mrs. Jack McIntyre, Bob and Sybil Burns, Delia Loebach, Shirley Stiers, Ray and Fran Calhoun, Ileen Salter, Jean Altenhoff, Albert & Lily Hundey. Volunteers from Holy Name Church will be delivering in September.
