SPRINKLER  SYSTEM  for the garden. We appreciate the generosity of the members who have generously     volunteered to pay for a new sprinkler system for our garden which we expect to have installed shortly. THANKS TO BRUCE FOSTER AND ALBERT HUNDEY. Any donations of plants would be appreciated, as Lily and her committee have been adding more flowers this year.

  HOORAY !! We have reasons to   celebrate this month:-      FIRST of all--We now own our own building, Our home away from home. The papers have all been signed , and the cheques written, and it is ours..!!

SECONDLY  The Trillium              Foundation will be supporting us with a grant to make our new home Handicap     accessible. This will include -ramps, automatic door openers and closers, and         handicap accessible washroom  facilities. All of this to be completed within the next 6 months. The contractor will be Gary Landry. The Trillium Grant is for a total of $44,800.00, and our portion will be $4,959.16

LAST  of all The ministry of Health will support our purchase of a new  stove for our Meals programmes  So   we have many reasons to celebrate and it's time to roll out the Red Carpet, and let the festivities begin.
