CHRISTMAS PARTY -96 friends and members enjoyed a chicken and roast beef dinner catered by Marion Wilson. The  Centre was festively decorated thanks to Mary Bebee and her committee. We were well entertained, initially by the Autumn Years Choral Group, directed by Lily   Hundey, and by the Laff- A- Lot Players, directed by Jim Robinson Thanks to Bob Mansell for the beautiful grace he gave for us. During the meal we had the pleasure of listening to 15 students from Maplewood School, directed by Jeff Hencher and also 4 young ladies  "Heaven's Angels"  from Maidstone  Central School directed by Anna Walls.

We were very fortunate to have 12       poinsettas donated to us by   Mr. Joe         Colasanti

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE  Thanks to all who supported our raffle by purchasing tickets. We made $525.00 for the Club
Special thanks to the merchants and    members who donated prizes for the       raffle. Home Hardware donated the     Breadmaker won by Peg Ross, Lily &     Albert Hundey donated a clock ,won by Jim Hatt. Zher's donated the sweater won by M. Doey. The touch lamp donated            anonymously by a member, won by Rheva Grieve. Christmas flower  arrangements made and donated by Mary Berthiaume, won by G. Lebel and J.   Nantais .$25.00 gift certificate ,donated by Scott's           Discount , won by Dorothy Croft.       Christmas Lamps donated by  Canadian Tire won by Melody Bell and Rita Smythe. The Christmas Centrepiece donated by Crafty Creations ,won by Judy Bartlam. Christmas Candle Holder  donated      anonymously by a member, won by Pat Merritt. Candle and Potpourri   donated by Always in Bloom, won by G. Lebel. Lights and Potpourri, donated by Woody's Craft House, won by Martin Strong. 2 sets of   silver Christmas  ornaments donated by  Essex Flower Basket ,won by Jill Horn and Norma Scarlett.
