ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS:-
     Our annual election of officers for the   coming year was held following  Pot Luck on March 12th. The officers and Board members for our  year--April 1 2002 to April 1 2003 consists of :-
President    Lily Hundey,
Past President   Mark Bebee
1st Vice President   Floyd Cascadden
2nd Vice President    Bob Burns
Treasurer   Barbara Bellemore
Secretary    June Middleton
    Board of Directors are :- Delia         Loebach, Janet Miller,  Betty O'Neill, Jim Robinson and Evelyn Vivier.
     We look forward to working together for the next year, and hope it will be a good one in which a great many things will be accomplished for the Essex       Retirees!
    We wish to thank Martin Strong for his work as treasurer over the past year. Also Jim Baird, Alma Wiley, Bill Bernath,  and Marjorie McQuiggan for their work  as   directors on the Board over the past year.  We welcome newcomers, Delia Loebach and Jim Robinson .

      Please remember that any member is    welcome to sit in on a Board meeting.
      If you wish to address the Board at any time you must submit your request in writing, stating your concerns in time for us to include it on the agenda. We are      always willing to listen to your concerns and suggestions  for the benefit of the club.

POT LUCK    Our regular pot luck dinner will be held on  Tuesday,  April  9th at noon. Please bring your own dishes and cutlery, plus your favourite casserole or dessert , and  bring along a guest or two . We welcome all to these social times   . After dinner  feel free to visit our V O N  Nurse Marcie to discuss any medical problems. The people who attended the haring clinic and had their hearing tested were  given lots of valuable information about the causes of  hearing losses                                           To round out your afternoon  there is  always a game of euchre, or maybe even a game of pool. or shuffleboard
