It's Back to School Time for all the Grandchildren

YOUR PRESENCE  is  required at a
general membership meeting on Monday, September 10 at 1 o'clock.  The financial statements for last year will be
presented.  Some issues will be voted on.  Hope to see you there!!!

POT LUCK AND MEGA DRAW
The August 14th Pot Luck dinner drew smiles of delight from these lucky winners.

At the pot luck on Tuesday,
September 11th, five more names will be selected.  This is the third of six draws .  There are three more chances to buy or be holding the winning ticket .after September 11.

MEALS ON WHEELS  Our
Club drivers delivered meals three times  weekly during the month of  August in town and in the county at noon hour.
Drivers for August are Ron & Gladys Skilton, Eileen & Ernie Sayers, Peg Ross & Ruby Robertson, Jack McIntyre
Don Parish & Jean Altenhof, and Delia Loebach Ruth McKenzie. Holy Name Church will be delivering meals in    September and drivers are needed.  If  you can help , please call Holy Name or here at the Centre.

ESSEX YOUTH GROUP
The government sponsored Helping Hands has finished their local outreach.  The seniors really appreciate all the help these young people have provided this summer.   They have cleaned, scrubbed, mowed lawns, weeded gardens and many other odd jobs for us.  Our heartfelt thanks to all of them.
