Happy Canada Day

Quote of the Month:-That is the happiest conversation where there is no competition, no      vanity, but a calm, quiet interchange of sentiments.

Open House
The Essex Retirees Social Club held an open house on Thursday, June 21, Friday June 22, Saturday June 23.  This was held to give the public an opportunity to see what we have accomplished over the past 3 years, and changed a schoolhouse into a social club for seniors to enjoy.  This was well attended, and we had a dedication program on Friday Afternoon with special guests.  The picture above shows the ribbon cutting at our front entrance.
